Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Production Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
To have overall responsibility for maintaining efficient operation of the process equipment.
To ensure that other than planned downtime the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times. To be proactive in meeting site requirements by reducing process waste and minimizing utility usage in the process area.
What you will need to succeed:
- Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.
- Deliver and develop effective reactive maintenance, repairs & improvements.
- Use of and feedback on, appropriate spares required.
- Generate and complete work orders on the CMMS.
- Participate in shift handovers and production meetings.
- Help develop and implement effective PM schedules.
- Support and achieve the engineering KPI's.
