Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Westbury, who due to continued expansion in the UK and European markets are actively seeking to engage an experienced Operations Manager to take the company forward.
What you will be doing:
Ensure production is optimized for all clients across all sites of the business with a commitment to efficient achievement of client service level agreements.
Responsible for the management of operational staff across all sites by maintaining a lean structure covering all facets of logistics, equipment maintenance and production throughput. All processes must support the principles of continuous improvement in health and safety, quality, environment, and operational efficiency.
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of operations from product delivery and dispatch.
- To ensure H&S, quality, and lean principles are supported throughout to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Training of staff and managers under your responsibility to ensure all team members are performing at optimum levels in their role
- Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals
- Track performance against client SLA and ensure actions are taken effectively and in a timely fashion to resolve performance issues and head off future risks of missing SLA targets
- Managing budgets and costs effectively
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven track record working as an Operations Manager in a Production / Manufacturing environment.
- Able to deliver against KPI and SLA
- Conversant with Compliance, Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies
- IT Literacy - well versed in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and able to be proficient in the use of the company systems.
